I’ve been trying to keep track of what books I buy each month as my TBR continues to grow at a faster rate than I can read. I was doing *quite well* in July until I noticed the 3 for £5 deal at The Works included some books I’ve had my eye on for a while and I ended up not actually doing that well in terms of not buying too much. These are the books I received in July – the title is slightly misleading as a couple I didn’t buy in July, they just arrived in July, and a few I was kindly gifted.

21 books. That’s how many books I acquired through various means. More than I intended, but I feel slightly better knowing that I have read 8 of them. I have A Song of Wraiths and Ruin, The Midnight Library and a couple of books I bought from Instagram on the way in August but other than that I have no intention of buying any more books. I am hoping to focus on the books I do own and continue to read as many of them as I can.

There are so many books here that I also want to read! This post makes me want to shop 🙈 I really want to read The Extraordinaries in particular
